Tolstoy's description of the Prussian generals prized by the Russians for opposing the genius Napoleon was classic Russian-style comedy while the heroic do-nothing [much] commanding general was the singular hero. The genius Napoleon retreated from Moscow rather than holing up through the fierce fierce Russian winter. The geniusNapoleon led his frightened troops through the burned and destroyed routethe French had used to enter with Russian homicidal enemies galore. The Prussian generals devised all manner of plans to stall the retreat while the Russian commander only nipped at their heels while the French soldiers were dying in droves of hunger, cold and fear. Doing nothing much at all destroyed Napoleon and his army, Admirals are, if anything, worse than generals. Stupidity, lethargy, arrogance and dishonesty [ex-Admiral Zelibor couldn't figure out any way to buy stock in LWLG with his own money] may be superb qualifications for military commanders but they aren't so hot for biotech CEO's IMO.
