Sometimes our isolated, inconsequential space seems to define the universe
So True !!!!!
That goes for everyone, even and perhaps particularly among the well-read, well-educated, well-traveled, well-cultured and sometimes even a lifetime of accrued wisdom prevents us from opening our eyes.

Have a wonderful evening,

PS - I do remember some early pcs having modems but I dont know if that is/was later considered part of the internet. My first encounter with the internet was working as an intern at Congressional District Office while a student. I don't remember what it was called but it was basically a monochrome email system similar to what later became known as PINE on college campuses, maybe a couple of years before there was an AOL. Some how the whole newsgroup phenomenon passed me by. I guess I was enamored by data preserved in dead trees. I still prefer to read that way today.
