SGMO is a biotech that plays in the Zinc Finger Protien (ZFP) sandbox.... in simple terms, it's kinda like genetic engineering and stem cell stuff.

 

Their business model is two-fold... agricultural and human applications.

 

In agriculture, they already have deals with the major players... in humans, they're in trials for, heretofore, untreatable diseases... right now HIV and Diabetic Neuropathy (DN) are their prime targets.

 

Their DN abstracts were at ADA last weekend and the CEO gave a lot more color today at the Needham conference.

 

There's only 40MM shares O/S and no debt, warrants, converts, or any other dilutive financing.

 

The pps is $4.00 and they've got $1.50 in cash.
