Latest letter from Corcept to Susan D. Wigenton
Here is some bit of news regarding the court case.
On July 26, 2019 CORT informed Teva that it was no longer asserting infringement of the '526, '242, and '243 patents.
It makes sense as those patents were almost all of them related to the same purported invention. Same as the '348 patent for which Neptune Generics filed an IPR last August 2018 and for which a final decision is due in February 2020. It seems that CORT expects the IPR to be instituted (hopefully the stock will not drop another 30%) and if so, it could easily invalidate '526, '242, and '243 patents and help Teva.
So nothing ground breaking but thought it would be interesting to know.
Also the debut of the Markman hearing is set for the Fifth of March.
GL to All.
