The more I read that part and the more it looks like Walsh is losing her temper:
- Corcept’s infringement allegations in this case are frivolous and baseless as a matter of law and fact.
- Corcept’s infringement allegations have a glaring and insurmountable problem.
- In short, this lawsuit should never have been filed.
- When this case concludes, Teva intends to pursue all applicable remedies, including but not limited to filing a motion for attorneys’ fees and sanctions.
In the meantime, however, Teva’s interest is to resolve the merits of this suit as quickly as possible so that it may begin marketing its proposed drug product and providing cheaper access to treatment for patients who need this medicine.
Riiiiiight... They just want the $$$
