I've relented. I am looking at the book you referenced. You know, although it might be true that a warming planet might have some positive effects, it's basically a case of playing Russian roulette; hence, not wise. E.g., if rainfall patterns change, as can be expected, there is no guarantee that it will result in a net good for agriculture. Also, since glaciers world-wide are receding, and the Greenland ice sheet is thinning, I find the author's claim debunking sea level rise as spurious. I am not a climate expert, but I have to take the consensus view of climate scientists as the reality. Some scientists distort their findings for funding purposes, but I don't believe this is a prevailing behavior.
