It's confusing because the Remdesivir article from zerohedge sounded negative, yet other Remdesivir commentary that came out later last night interpreted as positive. The Favi article you posted was less positive than this one from the Russian study:
Galidesivir and the others share a similar method of action, but Gal might prove to be better in trial testing.
Of note is what Stonehouse said about time to manufacture which sounded in line with Remdesivir - months...so even if Gal works well, it won't be ready until the fall. They only have enough product for Brazil test and a "high hundreds" of others. Sounds good that they are in talks with Gov about increasing capacity.
Stonehouse has said - safe and has some benefit has a good chance at an EUA using past Peramivir as an example. He also believes countries want more than one weapon to fight unknown future diseases. More testing is going to happen against other animal models and cell lines. I think we get our eventual shot at a stockpile.
