I much appreciate the re-posting of Fernando's views, although they have me confused.
"This Pacer document is addressed to the judge, to Netlist and to Google's own investors (investment funds and small shareholders). He is telling them that there is a small company that has sued them and they are going to have to pay a large amount for having infringed their IP after 12 years of infringement. They have no choice. He is preparing the stock market for the consequences of this lawsuit."
Is there some location where we can see the actual verbiage of "This Pacer document"? I can't wait to see the part where "He" says "They have no choice".
I am guessing that the "He" (writer of the document) is a Google rep. Anyone who is authorized by Google as "preparing the stock market for the consequences of this lawsuit" must be top-level, senior personnel.
I would love for this to be true (I would be backing up the truck tomorrow) but my gut says that this is just one person's Wild Ass Guess. I welcome any more clarity on this particular document, especially being able to read the words and determine for myself.
