LP certainly has done a good job of spinning the failed trial in a way that keeps the lights on.
The best current comparison is CVM. Almost identical in a lot of ways.
Both companies with one shot on goal. Both IO to treat everything. Both trials with futility holds.
In both
P3s patients randomized to placebo trended towards living longer than
patients randomized to treatment. Most would think that ends the story.
The one difference was how they tried to spin the trial failed.
CVM has been touting a subgroup (that cannot even be defined in advance), While NWBO with their ECAs.
Both are keeping the stock in play while they spin up their CDMO business. What is comical is that while CVM might be getting close to value for a CDMO, NWBO does nto even own Advent.
