What am I missing here?
As was pointed out to me previously, ETV fund doesn't own stocks, but rather writes options on two separate indexes.
Indexes typically dont match the performances of the biggest performers in an index.
No arguement that certain stocks have far outperformed ETV.
that's why some of my holdings are with specific stocks rather than simply buying the QQQ.
Many ETFs have gotten supersector specific. You may have heard of the WFH ETF.
I would think there is also a pandemic economy ETF. These are designed for capital gain. For sone of us, we look for income as the primary focus. That's our focus, not on overall capital gain.
