Damn The Torpedoeshttps://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=135446617 "They tanked the stock so they could cover short positions cheap." I heard that the first time, Ignatius, but are you certain they can drive the market up and down at will. "Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead," commanded Rear Admiral Farragut. The way the story goes the rear admiral - good being a rear admiral in such cases - it helped that the Union had resources for more ships and a new hard drinking, big spending general further to the rear. Without such resources, Rear Admiral Farragutt had just fussed and fumed. He wasn't insane. I have no knowledge Adage is insane nor that there aren't a lot of bigger buyers possible. Possible there are illegal non-compete agreements. Perhaps with just a wink and nod alone - in fact I would bet my last dollar there are some of those - but it seems extraordinarily risky if ADXS was getting the word out instead of euphemisms told to fading models and politicians who know from nothing. I would sure be itching to pay a call on Phillip Frost, the Warren Buffett of Biotech, who spends millions on far riskier bets - like a wildly offbeat cancer vaccine start-up - than Advaxis. There are others around and even real people willing to listen to people who know something or at least seem to. I just don't buy the constant whine and sour grapes. As always, JMO. Say, why not talk sometime about Advaxis and its platform for novelty instead of just smoke and shadows? Best, Terry |
