I had a position in ARCC 2 different times over the years and made some do-re-mi both times.  Probably a bad deal on my part selling this last time, but I sold as I misread what effect Fed rate hikes were going to have on BDC's.  Also sold MAIN and PFLT then and was mistaken there too.

These BDCs did not follow the move of BAC, C and other financials on the stockcharts.com charts I use.

ARCC and MAIN performed better for me in my timeframe than PFLT.
