Re: Showdown Time Coming For WIA
I tried to attend the meeting but the day before I used the directions I got from Compuserve & I was told the p-w & control # I provided didn't work. I was presuming that it was because I was too early & I just got a bogus error message as a brushoff. Well I tried again on 9.25.20 but I had a few glitches in getting to the computershare & I discovered I was 1 minute late. I was not able to get in in any case so I don't know what occurred. I was able to see from my proxy motion host Fidelity that the meeting was closed so the control # on my proxy was no longer valid.
Just for the record I am posting the info I got from my earlier call to Computershare about the vote.

Meanwhile its official that the meeting was held but no results have been publicly disseminated. WIA did slip a bit on Fri relative to its sister WIW but not too sharply so I remain curious about what occurred.
Presumably there wouldn't be another postponement so either the contract sale was approved or it died due to lack of a quorum. The trading activity though seems to hold out the possibility that there was another postponement as that would seem to be what would explain the trading activity.
Cefs remain an acquired taste with a lot of wrinkles. I confess to being an addict who thinks he can parse out what happens but I'll admit I've been fooled a # of times. If the contract sale is approved I'm quite confidant WIA will trade much closer in discount to WIW but that's about all I'm sure about.
