Re: S A Piece on the Pimco ARP Tenders

Those are old stories so I'm presuming whatever was to happen has occurred. I'd think Scwhab took out their clients from the securities & presumably the state AGs claimed credit for it. Those articles support RichAbe's observation that Wall Street has them on their books & Nuveen bailed out the brokerage firms to make the firms friendlier to future offerings. I'd guess Scwhab may help underwrite cefs given that they were handling ARPs which is different then their origins of being only discount execution firms.

It is depressing about our pols but I suppose the country gets what it deserves in these matters. Cuomo has parlayed his AG position into the Governorship of NY so I guess he was happy with the outcome.
