Trump Blames Media For Falling Poll Numbers...Says He Should Be Ahead By 20 Points....

 From The WSJ>>>>

Beset by sagging poll numbers, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is stepping up his attacks on news organizations, suggesting that biased coverage is turning the election against him.

In speeches, tweets and TV appearances, Trump and his backers in recent days suggested he would be ahead in the polls if the media didn’t favor his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In speeches, tweets and TV appearances, Trump and his backers in recent days suggested he would be ahead in the polls if the media didn’t favor his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

“If the disgusting and corrupt media covered me honestly and didn’t put false meaning into the words I say, I would be beating Hillary by 20%,” Trump tweeted Sunday.

Trump is under pressure from many in the GOP to steer his campaign beyond his signature incendiary comments and toward substance that might broaden his appeal. Trump is planning a foreign-policy speech in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday, following up on last week’s economic-policy address, and on Tuesday he is scheduled to hold an event in Milwaukee, site of weekend violence over a police shooting.

A CBS News poll released Sunday found that 45% of likely voters in New Hampshire supported Clinton, compared with 36% backing Trump. Clinton held a 45% to 40% lead in Florida, considered a pivotal state for both parties.

Trump has routinely called reporters “very bad people.” But over the weekend, he and his aides upped the volume. Saturday, he threatened to yank the campaign press credentials from the New York Times, the most-recent target of his ire over an article saying his campaign is in disarray. He tweeted that “it is not ‘freedom of the press’ when newspapers and others are allowed to say and write whatever they want even if it is completely false!”
