Sleepy SPH
I love sleepy little MLPs like SPH that appreciate 70% or more in a year or so, keep bumping their distributions through good years and bad, and fly under everyone's radar. Everyone but the good folks at M*, who bought this little jewel for their dividend portfolio in December 2006 at about $25, when it was yielding 10%! I wasn't there, but I followed soon thereafter.
Now that it's in the high $40's, brokers are touting it a little--as a high yield stock with appreciation potential. If anyone reads this Board, I'd like to know how much more appreciation you think can be expected. It is still trading at a low P/E and yielding almost 6%, and distributions are increasing nicely. I'm not selling, I just wonder how much better things can get!
