I honestly have no idea about future rates, but I just have a hard time seeing any drastic rate decreases in 2024 (I understand you didn't say that, I'm saying that). Neither party really cares about you nor me. We need a bit of a shake-up in terms of how we elect officials/who can run against one another/party dislocation. Not saying to burn down the house, the house has good bones, we just need to figure out how to bring in fresh blood (untainted by political affiliations and "established beliefs"). Politicians should be able to freely vote by quality of ideas, not based on what the party tells them they can or cannot believe/support. Right now it just feels like a game of constant name calling and lame ideas. It seems like the only people who win here are the politicians themselves. Maybe it's always been that way, maybe change is too much to ask for...
