In IRAs, I'm going to continue reinvesting dividends and trade infrequently. Outside of the IRAs I will continue to put new cash, such as it is, into T bills. I figure the fed may lower the rate a couple of times in 2024 but will stay within a range of 5 to 6 percent. I don't expect a recession, generally, but the working poor will slide into a depression while continuing to rely on government handouts which will not be enough to keep proverty rates among all age and ethnic groups from growing. But, of course, they will continue to vote they way they are told.
