Nice article today on Germany's largest offshore O&G operator, Wintershall. The newbuild rig that Seadrill (SDRL) will operate for Wintershall was running sea trials about 100 miles off the coast of it's shipyard this past weekend. Rig being the newbuild HE-SS West Mira.
Only question, in my mind, is if Wintershall has decided to exercise its option to take the rig early (in early 2019 instead of in 2H19 as per the firm portion of the ~2.5 year contract with Wintershall).
Wintershall is a subsidiary of German conglomerate BASF.
