Kevin,
"China produced 420,700 tonnes of refined copper in November, up 5.4% month over month (MOM) and 20.4% year over year (YOY)"
Is a breakdown ever given as to the source of the concentrate that goes into the [Chinese] smelters, or does this mean that "produced" also means that the ore was sourced in China, as well? I ask this as I hold some GlobeStar [TSX:GMI] that ships all of its Cu concentrate to Chinese smelters. In short, am trying to get an idea as to how much growing Chinese Cu ore/concentrate demand impacts countries other than China.
Liverless often publishes Cu inventory figures that seem to show almost always increasing Cu supplies. They seem to be LME inventory figures w/o COMEX or Shanghai I don't think I have seen Shanghai inventory changes recently.
