I don't really dislike TAM - I just don't think it should be pumped at current prices. It has a resource with a value, but the value is hard to quantify. And I do believe firmly that management is more focused on CMM than TAM.
With respect to CMM, I still like Peggy very much. But, as you will read in a previous post, assets are king in this sector. The CMM asset in Canada is marginal at best. The future of the company is in South America. I am holding my shares for the long term b/c I still think CMM is slightly undervalued relative to peers. Admittedly, my initial valuation assigned too much value to the Sigma open pit. This is a case where Bay Street got it right: the McWatters ghost still haunts that pit.
I have only bought shares in 3 companies this year: CMM, DMM, & SRZ. Can't find much else that I like. Still holding JAG, AUR, partial BWR, partial RNO. These have pretty much had their run, however. One of my best performing stocks this year, AMSC, is in a different sector. Go figure.
