Although I own a bunch of food related stocks... I am skeptical about the eating at home sticks for very long after the virus is history.

You have to travel to the store. One has to take the time to shop for food and pick out the best looking fruit and veggies. etc . You have to unload and taken in your purchases and store them away. Then you have to prepare the food or learn how to cook them and then throw away the containers...cans, plastic bottles etc. And of course throw out the food that spoils since you did not plan well enough for leftovers or how old the fruit or vegges were getting. etc. And then you have to clean up pans , dishes and the floor the kids feeding the dog.

Eating at a fast food cafes that give you a wide range of different styles of Mexican, Asian, American foods and avoid all of the above. work and time spent .. saving you a lot of time to do other things. Plus if one lives alone... eating alone all the time cannot compete with eating out with friends.
