American Superconductor Corp. on Feb. 3 reported a non-GAAP net loss of $3.4 million, or negative 13 cents per share, for the third quarter of fiscal 2020, compared with a loss of $6.7 million, or negative 32 cents per share, in the same period of fiscal 2019.
On a GAAP basis, the company's net loss was $7.9 million, or negative 31 cents per share, in the fiscal third quarter, compared with a loss of $6.8 million, or negative 32 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenues for the quarter totaled $23.6 million, compared with $17.9 million a year ago.
For the fiscal fourth quarter, ending March 31, the company expects revenues of $18 million to $22 million, a GAAP net loss not exceeding $8.0 million, or negative 31 cents per share, and a non-GAAP net loss of no more than $6.5 million, or negative 25 cents per share.
