American Superconductor Corp. on Nov. 4 reported a non-GAAP net loss of $2.7 million, or negative 13 cents per share, for the second quarter of fiscal 2020, compared to a loss of $1.5 million, or negative 7 cents per share, in the same period of fiscal 2019.
On a GAAP basis, the company's net loss was $3.7 million, or negative 17 cents per share, in the fiscal second quarter, compared to a loss of $825,000, or negative 4 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenues for the quarter totaled $21.1 million, compared with $14.0 million a year ago.
For the fiscal third quarter, ending Dec. 31, 2020, the company expects revenues in the range of $22 million to $25 million; a GAAP net loss not exceeding $6.0 million, or negative 23 cents per share; and a non-GAAP net loss of no more than $5.5 million, or negative 21 cents per share.
