Portland General Electric logs increases in Q1 net income, revenue

Portland General Electric Co. on April 30 reported net income of $96 million, or $1.07 per share, in the first quarter of 2021, up from $81 million, or 91 cents per share, in the same period in 2020.
The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the quarter was 93 cents.
Revenues totaled $609 million in the first quarter, compared with $573 million in the year-ago period. Income from operations was unchanged at $133 million.
The company reaffirmed its 2021 earnings guidance of $2.55 per share to $2.70 per share.
