MDU Resources Group Inc. said it bought a concrete components company in Washington.
MDU said it purchased Oldcastle Infrastructure Spokane, a business that makes concrete components for projects in the northwest, and said it folded the operation into MDU's Knife River Corp. Oldcastle Infrastructure used to own Oldcastle Infrastructure Spokane, MDU said.
MDU, based in North Dakota, didn't disclose financial details but said it expects the deal to increase earnings per share.
MDU said the deal "complements and expands Knife River's existing precast/prestressed operations in Oregon, Alaska and the growing Pacific Northwest."
