Good news from Japan, where finally the construction of the Yuzawa geothermal power plant has finally sated, 22 years after the initial surveys started taking place.
This won't produce even static electricity for HTM but the resistance of Japan to geothermal has been the stuff of legend. Japan engages in a worldwide cutthroat competition with China to sell geothermal plant and equipment but still hasn't abandoned nuclear power plants despite a second nuclear holocaust.
Geothermal derives its heat mostly from nuclear breakdown.
The resistance to geothermal energy in the U. S. is also very powerful.
Best, Terry
