Broadcom seeks buyers for Mountain View, Calif., office/research complex

Broadcom Inc. is selling a 10-building office/research complex spanning 707,000 square feet in Mountain View, Calif., Real Estate Alert reported.
The asset reportedly could attract bids at a property valuation of more than $700 million.
The property served as the headquarters for Symantec Corp.'s enterprise security business, which Broadcom recently acquired and rebranded as NortonLifeLock Inc. The cybersecurity company is set to vacate the property by the time the sale closes and will relocate its headquarters to Tempe, Ariz., the news outlet noted.
The semiconductor company is accepting investor bids for the entire complex or the individual buildings, according to the report.
