The unknown use of the money from the dividend cut, besides the debt reduction, is very importantInvestments aimed at increasing revenue and EBITDA growth supersedes debt reduction if the investments have a higher return on capital. There must be a very good reason why Jef Storey didn't elaborate on possible investments. In my opinion he doesn't want the competition to know CenturyLink is getting involved with wireless pCell Technology that will aid T-Mobile to accelerate the advancement of 5G. In time we will all know where the dividend cut funds are being invested. It only stands to reason that the best fiber optic network on the planet is getting involved with 5G wireless, because wireless can't function without a world wide fiber network. So everyone please don't think I'm having crazy thoughts. Stop and think this through like you owned this business, actually you do as shareholders. 5G wireless is coming and TMUS is going to start to roll out their real 5G, which has to be pCell wireless, not the fake 5G that T and Verizon have, using cell towers. Who better to use for T- Mobile 5G wireless, when that wireless connection needs to get transferred to long haul and ultra long haul fiber. You guessed it CTL. CenturyLink needs extra cash in a hurry (dividend cut money) to start installing pwave devices and fiber ends connected to these millions of devices across America and the world. Cell towers are obsolete and are a thing of the past. CenturyLink has evolved into a back haul and forward haul wireless technology partner to TMUS. I can't say anything else now, I'll only take calls on my TMUS/CLT pCell wireless phone from here on out. Operator that ends the call😄😄 |
