GE CEO: Too Early To Predict China Supply Chain Recovery -- Market Talk
GE CEO Larry Culp said the company has 18,000 workers in China and is focused on supporting them and their families. GE's three facilities in the Hubei province remain closed, he said at an investor conference. The supply chain in the country is a priority but it is too early to predict a recovery with most changes expected in the second quarter. He said, the aviation business is feeling pressure from cancelled flights and lower miles flown but the company's 2020 projections incorporate the China expectations.
