Latest Mo. BMY Short Interest Up 20.2%, With Its Price Down 3.2%, As of 5-15-23Per Yahoo!Finance Statistics, BMY's short interest rose from 17.88 M shares to 21.49 M shares, or 20.2%, between 4-14-23 and 5-15-23. During the same period, its price fell from $70.45 to $68.17, or 3.2%. Given the monthly increase in BMY short interest, it is amazing that its price fell so little by 5-15-23. Since then, other factors must have played a role in BMY's continued fall. JMHO. P.S. Have been traveling in May. Will try to comment more often, going forward. FYI. |
