Re: Home-made face mask The message I've been hearing is that if a person - Person A - is infected, maybe even just asymptomatically, a face mask on Person A (even an inexpensive surgical mask) will help to prevent Person A from spreading the virus to Person B, and that if Person A does not wear a mask, Person B's wearing a mask (other than N -95) will provide little protection against the threat of the virus being transmitted from Pers on A to Person B. To me, that amounts to "offering some protection." |
