Any one wonder why retail investors dont make money in the market, especially those invested in penny biotechs ?Here are few qualities..... Stubbornness Wishful thinking Always hopeful and expecting 10-100X return. Unwillingness to accept the reality. They are always right about investment vs market. There is no bear thesis and no matter what always bullish on investment. This is a once in a life time opportunity. Throwing good money after bad investment decision. No offense intended against anyone. Just reflecting on my decade long journey on PVCT investment. Ugly truth is even great drugs fail with incompetent management execution. Few years back 100% of my investment portfolio consists of PVCT. Glad to learn a lesson or 2 over the years. Today PVCT is the only penny stock I hold in my portfolio and currently its less than 10% of my total portfolio (Still huge allocation and didn't sell any except for tax loss). Buy the best and hold the best and more often than not winners keep winning. Although my patience is running thin, I never been so patient with any other investment (holding a position for almost decade long after 90% loss on initial investment is no joke). Bottom line if I weren't a patient PVCT investor I wouldn't have hold my position for almost decade and still spent significant amount of time on DD. |
