However, I agree that buying 5 million is a significant buy for Sarepta. I honestly don't remember what requirements they put in several years ago about the value of shares owned. However, it looks like the new board member already owned a chunk of Sarepta in a Trust before becoming one of the newest directors. Was looking at his recent score when he sold Aldevron for over 9 billion, when I came across this really beautiful looking property of his with an odd headline "Aldevron co-founder wants tax value of his West Fargo mansion slashed" Just a snippet from the article linked below: "Michael Chambers, co-founder of Aldevron, a biotechnology company that sold last year for $9.6 billion, is asking officials to reduce the tax assessed value of his residential property from $6.1 million to $3.4 million."
