One for the twittering bird dogs

Bird dog Doug spotted 550 million worth of fellow bird dog investors....and we bagged those suckers!

8K:
"The net proceeds to the Company from the sale of the Common Stock, after deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses payable by the Company, will be approximately $549.1 million. The Offering is expected to close on October 18, 2021, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The Company also granted the Underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 925,926 shares of Common Stock at the Offering Price, less underwriting discounts and commissions, which option was exercised in full."

But this one is really for the frustrated bird dogs tweeting on Twitter and Yahoo!

"There's a sucker born every minute"

P. T. Barnum was a showman best remembered for his entertaining hoaxes and for founding the circus that eventually became Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Barnum is often credited with having coined the phrase theres a sucker born every minute in reference to his gullible customers, yet there is no proof of him ever saying it. The quips precise origins are unclear, but Barnum always maintained that his patrons were not suckers but willing participants in his pranks and hoaxes. The people like to be humbugged, he once said.

Glossary: Bird dog: "A bird dog in real estate terms is someone that identifies distressed properties, recommends them to other real estate investors, and collects a finders fee when that investor closes the deal. Thats all there is to it."

Or, if you prefer this one: "A real estate investing term that refers to someone who spends their time trying to locate properties with substantial investment potential."
