It looks like a little game they can play during their current work days/hours. Maybe that is supposed to contain costs. But it also makes this experiment basically useless in terms of evaluating whether a C&C store could be a viable business venture.......whether stores run by C&C itself, or demonstrating that another retailer should open/run C&C branded jewelry stores. And $500K is a dream, with this location and days/hours.
Yes, C&C branded (FO or C&C) M jewels and jewelRY should be in all Signet/Sterling stores, and all similar chains/stores. That is where the bulk of jewelry is sold, and that is where we need to be. Yes, C&C needs their product to be where the opportunity is (where people shop), and not trying to create another destination (fat chance).
The folks who invested in this company, invested in the opportunity to OWN the wholesale market of a new fine jewel (M). A low expense, high margin business model. Not in a retailer (online and maybe their own B&M stores) of jewelRY, including lab D which is everywhere.
The target is ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE growth in revenue, and the stock price. Ain't gonna get there running expensive B&M stores of their own. But maybe current Mgt (and the BOD) doesn't know how to pursue anything significant.
