This is where C&C, mainly the BOD, has failed investors (especially long term holders, who invested the actual money in the early days).......the "incentives" and rewards have NEVER been aligned with actual investors. Especially over the last decade or so. The BOD has never used the rewards/incentives to hire and inspire leaders to align with and achieve results for actual investors. They set low goals, and pass out rewards for "results" far below a level that can produce for actual investors (except maybe some of the newer "investors" that bought shares the company has sold at fire sale prices recently). As far as we can see, the only reason to sell the additional shares, is to get a bigger percentage of shareholders at a lower cost basis, so Mgt can avoid having to produce for the real investors who have a much higher basis (and indeed, can expect an appropriate gain over the previous $25/share high/basis).
Hope I am wrong. But we have not seen any integrity in the BOD/Mgt in terms of actually aligning themselves wit investors. If they had integrity, they would create/accept rewards incentives where they didn't get anything until the PPS goes above $25, which is where long term investors use begin to see rewards after holding since (before then.
