The good news is that M is popular. Hopefully that popularity remains with C&CM. Actually, the popularity needs to be GROWN dramatically. If it is popular now, even with a certain group, it obviously is not enough to show up as significant sales. We are still in only the ten million per quarter range, or less.......if it was popular, we should be selling BILLIONS, literally, seriously......and even right now, at least an order magnitude more than we are now.
If C&C Mgt had any common sense or business sense, they would realize that "ethical" ("sustainable", ....) is NOT a message that will resonate with fine jewels/jewelry, most especially the engagement ring. But suzanne doesn't seem to get it. And she is starting to come across as an exec who won't admit her plan is wrong (and move on to something better), and will stick with it until she gets canned after years of failure (which will be fine for her, because she keeps all the salary money). Just like Randy.......
