SBA Communications hikes dividend by 22%

SBA Communications Corp. raised its quarterly dividend by 22% to 71 cents per common share.
The dividend is payable March 25 to shareholders of record March 10.
The company also reported its operational activity in reporting its most recent results. During the fourth quarter of 2021, SBA acquired 59 communication sites for total cash consideration of $38.4 million.
On Jan. 4, the specialty real estate investment trust closed on 1,445 sites for $176.1 million under its deal with airtel TANZANIA LIMITED
Subsequent to the fourth quarter of 2021, SBA Communications purchased or is under contract to purchase 371 communication sites for an aggregate consideration of $137.1 million in cash. These acquisitions are expected to close by the end of the third quarter.
