I'm still hanging in there with a too big long position. I too have been wondering how low it can go.

 

I've got a 400 share position that was in an IRA but I moved it to my Roth for a "cheap" conversion. I've also been building a small taxable position, currently up to 160 shares. My last buy was 6/24 at $5.20 - it just keeps on falling.

 

Since I have a stock that rose 400% in about a month where I took some profits, I'm looking to sell some RUTH at a tax loss as soon as 30 days have passed. With luck, it will pop up a little for the sale and then sink again 30 days later so I can replace the shares on the cheap.

 

The shares in my Roth can sit there and rot until the stock price catches up. I just need a few taxable shares so I can actually spend the profits when they come. I think/hope 2009 is right.
