Re: IP Watchdog - How Many Times Should Qualcomm be Paid for Old Technology?
What does it say about the intellectual capability of everyone other than Qualcomm that they have to keep using Qualcomm's property to make mobile phones work rather than invent something themselves.
The issue is that QCOM has a CDMA patent that many Cell phone networks still use and all Cell Phones must support that old technology in the event the user is in a territory that requires CDMA connections.
The industry, including Apple, Samsung, Nokia, etc. , has many patents covering Cell phone technology.
