Re: More dots
Hey ketchikan06,
Outstanding work digging out these facts. Every member of the
California Democratic Congressional Delegation needs this information.
Often wonder what Rambus does to lobby the Congress and promote its
agenda.
Seems to me the current Rambus Chairman, Mr. Kennedy, is distracted by
his primary responsibility as CEO of JDS Uniphase. Rambus gets
secondary attention at best. It would be the CoB's responsibility to be
"Mr. Outside" and to lobby Congress on behalf of his compnay and its
industry. Perhaps I missed it, but don't recall ever hearing a peep
from either Mr. Kennedy or Mr. Hughes on the pending patent reform
proposals.
On the other hand, as your post amply demonstrates, Mr. Appleton, the Micron CoB and CEO, takes
every opportunity to promote his agenda to lawmakers through his own
efforts and the efforts of his paid agents. When it comes to
influencing patent reform, the very platform of its business model,
Rambus is a babe in the woods and doesn't stand a chance.
Just my opinion.
