Re: An Extraordinary Deal: Some Questions and Commentsugh... worse than I thought... Guess its good that the board has individuals like yourself that can fully comprehend the legalistic side of the equation and also has the insider perspectives to make the analysis 'viable'.
well, have had this thought for a long time now, going back to the 2000 timeframe of, would RMBS be a spike on the news and folks loose interest because once the licenses are signed, how much can we really expect earnings to grow year over year if they are already collecting on so much of the product being made...
and recently, echoed the thought that what IF micron and hynie can't pay up? What IF they declare bankruptcy? Then what does RMBS get?? What if they win infringement and AT judgements against a pair that can't pay or trys to use the law to skirt out of paying?
a lot of what ifs and none of them very rosy in nature... to close, thanks for the perspective, gloomy that it is.... glad I am using deep in the money options when I play them... if RMBS keeps making deals like this, if the remaining amigos fail to pay? Any dream of a triple digit share price looks a tad more distant than many of us were envisioning...
and that would be a terrible break for those that for the last 10 years have followed this saga religiously...
again, thanks Mr. Danforth for your perspectives...
Eagle... disclaimer: hold no position at the moment, don't like the markets, and RMBS from a technical analysis standpoint, looks poised to 'slide' a bit... |
