Talk about obsessive tracking

Not only was this (yet another) a lie:

"I've got a decent hosting package which comes with some sort of stats package, so I might have the one you mention. But if I used it I wouldn't likely have a need for my dear, dear ActiveMeter, now would I?

So I won't say I don't have Trafficfacts but I will say I don't use it if I do."

ASM now is also embedding images hosted on servers
registered  to Provo Labs, so whatever or whomever is left of that entity can monitor site traffic also.

This one is embedded at the very bottom of the page:

Are any of those "World History Blogs" actual blogs or are they all just fronts for traffic monitoring and spyware? Or is some techie just abusing his server access to use someone's blog as a spy vehicle without the blog owners consent? Or are you accessing the server logs yourself? If so, do you have a legal right to do so?
