Re: One hypothesis for OSTK spike..when a stocks gets beat down well over 50%

As a chair sitter and trader since 1996 I will say with certain this market can not continue with the way the tape is going. Something has to give. Volume has dried up on many stocks. Every stock seems to be tied to the SPY or at least many I watch.

Should SPY go test the lows many stocks will follow the leader no matter what the company pulls outta a hat. SPY just gunning for a test of 252 again. In case you were not aware SPY Monday Options expiration was an additional day to the regular Wednesday and Friday expirations. So,since February this year mid Feb, the SPY and violent swings have been a rollercoaster.

I have said it for years, you take a good stock and it starts rising for a few points over a month or two and next thing you know Options start trading on it. Game over when that happens as motive now controls price action. Just like Bitcoin Futures. See how that came to a screeching halt?? All is good but not near like it was before SPY started with 3 days a week for Options.......Back to Lurking. Roll
