PS For them that have not seen it yet: a year ago I was invited to speak to a large conference on Wall Street ("Value Investor Congress") to tell my side of the story. A number of hedge funds threatened a boycott, and the offer was rescinded. This October an even larger Wall Street conference ("PIPEs") invited me to speak. When I warned the orgaanizer to expect a boycott, he replied, "Don't worry, in the last year there has been a tidal shift in attitudes, and at least 50-60% of the hedge funds there support you."
