PowerRating -- Aluminum Corp of China (Chalco, 2600.
HK; 601600.SH) is building a copper in-depth processing project in
Southwest China's Yunna Province.
The primary output
capacity of the project will be 300,000 tons
per year including 100,000 tons of copper sheets and strips and 200,
000 tons of copper wires and poles.Upon operation, the project will yield 7 billion yuan of annual
operating revenue. Moreover, it will make Yunnan
China's biggest copper process base with co-efforts of another three
copper processors also belonging to Chalco.
The three processors are capable of producing more than
130,000 tons of copper sheets and strips and another 220,000 tons of
capacity is under construction.
