  • Please accept my sincerest apologies for failing to publicly acknowledge our fallen heroes this past Memorial Day. No excuse I could offer could justify the oversight. Along with you, I salute the many men and women who have proudly and selflessly served in our military to protect, defend and secure the freedoms and liberties we enjoy each and every day. Their bravery in making the ultimate sacrifice will forever be appreciated and they will always be remembered and celebrated and never taken for granted or forgotten.

Keep your eyes on the prize ----Re: Occidental CEO eyes EOR, CO2 capture in CO

I don't know, but I like the idea of cycling oil from Oxy's 3000-4000 Colorado wells with co2, to produce perhaps an incremental 25,000 bbl oil each to recover 100 mmbbl of oil, good for about $5 billion in incremental revenue to Oxy, and then packing away about 1-2 BCF of co2 into each well before plugging it, to realize a tax credit of about $5 mm from each well, for a total credit of about $15-$20 Billion.

Add DAC, coupled with Net Power generation, facilitated and made more efficient with DJ BASIN direct heat and you've got a money making ecosystem.

Creating a boost in value for their DJ properties will be great for Colorado.
