Re: Delisting from Russell 3000May be obvious, but keep in mind that removal from the R3K index is totally different from delisting on the Nasdaq or other exchange. Nasdaq has specific requirements for the various levels of listing, including price levels of the shares, market cap, etc. I have owned companies that were delisted from the Nasdaq and were then traded on the pink sheets, but were still public companies. One of them was then bought out and turned what looked like a certain loss into a decent gain.
