William O'Neil on radiofrom one or two years ago on the "Winning On Wall Street" Radio Show. * Do not buy stocks that have fallen significantly from their 52 week highs. * Buy into accelerating earnings. * Look for companies showing sales growing 40% or more year over year. * Do not buy last decade's technology winners. (By this I assume he means Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, AMCC, Dell, Lucent, and others.) * Look for companies with a new product or service. * Wall Street research is too theoretical. * Look through about a hundred charts to find a few of the next big winners. * Use both technical and fundamental analysis. One alone doesn't do it. |
